Meet Your State Officers

Andi Newbrough, State Officer

Hi everyone! My name is Andi Newbrough and I am a senior at CM Russell in Great Falls! I am a competitive dancer, love to spend time with my family, and enjoy traveling! I joined DECA my freshman year, instantly being captivated by the endless opportunities that are available to its members! DECA has allowed me to prepare for the future in ways like public speaking, understanding a professional setting, and networking through conferences like state and the 2018 ICDC in Atlanta. My plans for the future are to attend college, likely majoring in biochemistry on a premedical track while minoring in business management. Please feel free to reach out with questions- I cannot wait to meet all of you guys in February! See you at Fairmont.

Dakota Morosi, State Officer

Hi there Montana DECA, I am Dakota Morosi. I’m currently a junior at Bozeman High School and I am thrilled to be serving as one of your 2019-20 MT DECA State Officers! Besides DECA, I am super passionate and enthusiastic about photography, movies, or just about anything that involves a camera. I started in DECA my freshman year and have loved attending the state and international conferences every year. My favorite DECA memory has been able to attend the DECA ELS training in San Diego this past year. Make it a great year Montana, and I can’t wait to see what you have come up with at state in February!

Liv Wilson, State Officer

Hey guys!  My name is Liv Wilson and I’m a senior at Glacier High School.  I am honored and excited to serve on the 2019-2020 State Officer Team.  I love to play tennis, participate in debate and study international languages.  DECA has completely opened my eyes to the countless opportunities there are for careers in business.  I joined DECA my freshman year and was able to attend ICDC in Anaheim with my chapter. There, I gained a whole new perspective on my future and this incredible organization.  I learned what DECA can do for me, and more importantly, what I can do for DECA. I plan to attend the University of Montana next fall to study business and pursue a career in which DECA remains active in my life.  Can’t wait to see you all up on that stage gettin some glass! Good luck and see you soon!!!

Parker Summerhill, State Officer

Greetings, my name is Parker Summerhill and I’m a Junior at Bozeman High School. When I’m not taking part in DECA activities or at school I enjoy participating in numerous other extracurriculars. You can find me either playing soccer, skiing at Bridger Bowl, or preparing for Speech and Debate in much of my free time. From the intimidation of my first DECA meeting to the awe of the national stage, DECA has taught me infinite lessons. I have found it invaluable to ensure that you stop and smell the roses along your journey. Whether it’s competing at state, serving your community, or taking a family vacation, enjoy where you are at. I can’t wait to work with Montana DECA to make year 70 the best one yet! See you on the stage!
